Revised Plans Submitted
Stewardship organizations continued to express their interest in the role of stewardship plan operator under King County’s Secure Medicine Return Regulations by submitting a revised stewardship plan for review and approval. Notification of plan approval status was provided to each stewardship organization on October 16, 2015.
Approval Status
Plan approval status for revised stewardship plan submitted by ReturnMeds LLC on June 25, 2015 is “plan approved” with the designation as the standard plan. The compliance deadline for the approved stewardship plan to be fully implemented is no later than April 13, 2016.

Plan approval status for the revised proposed stewardship plan submitted by King County MED-Project LLC on July 10, 2015 is “plan rejected.” The stewardship organization is eligible to submit an additional revised plan within 60-days addressing the comments provided. If resubmitted, the revised plan will be considered as an independent plan.
