It’s a great time to clean out your medicine cabinet!
Cleaning out unwanted medicines from home medicine cabinets, kitchen drawers, and bedside tables reduces the risk of poisoning, misuse and abuse of medicines found in the home.  Unwanted medicines can be safely disposed of at a DEA Take-Back Day location in your community.  There is no cost to dispose of your medicines and its anonymous.

At the last DEA Take-Back Day in April, Washington residents statewide disposed of 13,800 pounds (6.9 tons) of unwanted medicines in just four hours!
